Anne’s Story

Anne’s Journey

I was born in Vancouver in the early 60’s, and I am over 60 – So I’ve been around the block. I’ve been a professional coach for almost 24 years, but if you ask pretty much anyone, I have probably been a coach all my life in one way or another.

My Lifestyle and mindset allow me a fair bit of personal freedom. I currently divide my time traveling between three islands in BC.   These three perspectives of life – ask me to remain flexible every day.

My own story of three perspectives also informs much of the work I do for clients.

Often what brings clients to me is their much needed for additional perspective – as a result, much of what I do for heart-centered women leaders is help them become masters of multi-perspective experiencing. In 1 perspective they feel stuck and unclear, In another, they may have been experiencing anxiety or doubt; a dance between perspectives. What I teach is how to be open and flexible and leverage multiple perspectives and awareness to experience more everyday peace. In short, I help smart, sensitive women think better and feel better.

I help women and men who have been struggling with crisis, chaos, and criticism live a life that is calm, clear and confident, so they can find the ease they crave and the momentum they have been missing.

My peaceful environments have anchored my desire for greater inward peace and ease both for myself as a sensitive woman, and for my clients who are equally heart-centered.

I am passionate about helping others experience more Everyday Peace and productivity by being a serene supporter as they embrace simplicity &  practical &  purpose-filled practices that contribute to dissolving illusions of separateness so they can approach life – from a place of wholeness and personal grace.

As a sensitive woman, I love writing, reading poetry, watching the sea and walking in nature. Since 2014 I have been especially mindful of my health and wellness.

I recently transformed my own body by losing 110 lbs of excess weight gained from a 10+ year hard-won lesson of taking care of others before I made time for myself.  I am now even more passionate about helping others be mindful of their self-care as they lead.

In 1987 my younger brother, Allen committed suicide at 25 years of age.  I was devastated by something I couldn’t control – even though I tried.  This experience started my journey in learning how to live with uncertainty without being overwhelmed by it.

Before starting my coaching practice in 2001, I worked in the travel industry for over 25 years and experienced many cultures and life experiences as a result of my time in leadership roles within the industry. As a result of my time traveling the world, I have developed a lifelong passion for connecting with people and sharing ideas.

In 2000, I was noticing that soft-skills were both needed by my colleagues and clients – and I left the corporate world – and began working with clients as a coach.

In 2001 I completed my Master Practitioner Level in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), completed the Advanced Courses with The Coaches Training Institute (CTI). I also finished a certificate in leadership coaching as well as various other certifications such as the Bar-on Emotional Intelligence Assessment and studied some various different types of coaching methodologies.

I bring of all my experience to my clients in a gentle and loving way – which makes me a coach with a gentle yet practical style.   Clients who work with me want loving support – and that is what I provide.

I married Allan in 2007 after he and I met in Kindergarten in 1966.  Later in 2007 Allan was injured in a workplace accident and subsequently suffered depression, addiction issues, and suicidal thinking.   As a result, my journey again was reoriented to one of searching for my own peace in the face of uncertainty.

For the past 18 years, I have walked a path of being a serene supporter to women who wanted more momentum and ease in their lives.

Finding Peace Even in the Face of the Unfaceable.

I help women connect with their soul, and express themselves from the inside out. Women who want better families, better businesses, better careers, better lives. Women learn that to better their situation they first must be better themselves. We do that together through a journey from the inside out – leveraging passion, purpose, productivity, self-care and practical awareness.

With me you will find inspiration and encouragement, gentle, thoughtful prompts and wisdom and tools gleaned from almost 20 years coaching clients – many of whom hire me again and again because they find such deep value in the work we do together.

My Husband Al and I currently live in Richmond BC and enjoy traveling to visit the sea.
